This fine floor standing regulator clock is made by Reid & Auld of Edinburgh with Graham's Dead Beat Escapement, maintaining power and grid iron style pendulum with wood rod.

Established in 1956 by Thomas Young, our business has stood the test of time and continues to be a trusted name in the world of antique clock sales and repairs. Located in Cupar, Fife, our high street shop is a treasure trove of precision instruments and horological craftsmanship. Our in house workshop is fully equipped to cover all restoration work for your grandfather clock and all other mechanical domestic clocks and pocket watches.

This wall clock completed in 2019 by Eric Young took six years to complete and is on display at the showroom as an example of craftmanship in clockmaking.

This beautifully crafted and hand engraved Sundial is made by Adie & Son for the Skerryvore lighthouse, 11 miles South West of Tiree.
Masters in Clockmaking
Above is a very fine mahogany and gilt mounted bracket clock by Thomas Reid, Edinburgh from the golden age of clockmaking and on the left is Archie McQuater's masterpiece. This Ptolemaic Planetarium Clock made by Archie in 2012 displays the minutes, hours, days of the week, date and month in perpetual calendar, phase of the moon and world time.
